The Full Story

What is it that fuels each and every one of us in this world? For me, it is Dr Swae Makes a Change, a website where I write about skincare, parenting, my homeschool adventures and all things DIY.  My name is Laura and I am a mom to four kindhearted and adventurous little boys.  After attending Yale and moving on to medical school, I became a dermatologist, teacher of dermatology and then an author.  Over time I have learned how much needs to be done at home for prevention instead of treatment. I have found such a sense of fulfillment in my own life and I want to share it with you. I enjoy writing about my passions- mothering, parenting, making our own destiny, and of course, skin stuff.  I enjoy sharing it with the world.
